Fishbowl Executives David Williams and Mary Michelle Scott Acknowledged in 2011 v100 and 30 Women to Watch Leadership Awards

Vision, Leadership and Entrepreneurial Success Recognition Underscores Fishbowl’s Record-Breaking 2011

OREM, Utah (May 17, 2011) – Fishbowl® CEO David Williams and President Mary Michelle Scott are both receiving accolades for their business and leadership skills in helping to grow Fishbowl (www.fishbowlinventory.com) into one of Utah’s top software development companies. Williams was inducted this month into vSpring’s v100, a list of Utah’s top entrepreneurs, and Scott will be honored on May 25 as one of Utah Business Magazine’s 30 Women to Watch.

These awards underscore Fishbowl’s strength as one of Utah’s most dynamic and fast-paced companies, achieving 120 percent growth over the past three years. The company’s Fishbowl Inventory® software continues to gain strength as the No. 1 requested add-on to QuickBooks. In 2011, the company is also expanding Fishbowl Inventory as a hosted product and as a standalone inventory and CRM solution for companies of every size.

In keeping with its commitment to corporate responsibility, Fishbowl also launched the Courage Above Mountains (CAM) Center in early 2011, working with partners such as Utah Valley University to increase digital literacy. The company is also expanding its activities in support of community and small business in 2011.

“We are tremendously pleased for these acknowledgements from our Utah community, as we are highly committed to do all we can to make a positive impact on the economy and to contribute to the strong business that exists in our state,” Williams said. He added that Fishbowl has created a special discounted product offering to help struggling Utah businesses to aid in their revitalization.

“Our role is to uphold and serve our users, our employees, and every company and partner we interact with to expand our Fishbowl community in the U.S. and worldwide,” added Scott. “We are honored that these awards create additional opportunity to extend the impact of the Fishbowl community to as many individuals and organizations as we possibly can.”

The new acknowledgements come on the heels of Fishbowl’s recent UV50 award by Utah Valley Magazine as one of Utah Valley’s top 25 fastest-growing companies for 2011, an honor the company also received in 2008 and 2010. The Inc. 500/5000, Deloitte Fast 500, Utah 100, and the Utah Business Fast 50 also acknowledged Fishbowl’s extraordinary growth in 2010.
